Meet the groomer
Hello I'm Lexie,
Grooming by a Certified and Experienced Dog and Cat Groomer and Qualified Vet Nurse.
I will keep your pet looking and smelling great with your pets' health and comfort in mind.
I am a Veterinary Nurse.
My passion is Grooming!
I raise money for the RSPCA, Cat Haven and SAFE.
My Positive Grooming Environment:
My service is unlike some busy parlours' where your dog/cat is Groomed by different groomers, I clip, wash, and hand dry all my dogs/cats, I have cages but barely use them as my dogs go home as soon as they are finished so there is no stress, for large dogs I have a dog run to keep them out of mischief. I feel that I have a better bond with your pet by being it's only Groomer. All cats are of course caged when finished so I do not lose them :) I try and groom cats seperate from dogs to keep them calm and comfortable.
I was happy when I started grooming my way and have noticed changes in the dogs I groomed, they like being groomed much more due to the positive environment I have.
I use aromatherapy and patience to calm your dog/cat while grooming.
As a Veterinary Nurse I am up to date with first aid of animals and will give your pet the absolute best care young and old and Advice where needed. I would rather a Veterinary nurse groom my pet for incase of accident or heart attack, etc, wouldnt you?
My Grooming Goals:
To become the best groomer I can be. I am always advancing my grooming skills with courses, new equipment and advice from other groomers. I have become a Vet Nurse to compliment my grooming and help the clientel with their parasite/grooming advice.
My Mission:
To save many cats and dogs from euthanasia, currently to date have saved 1 dog and 5 cats from being euthanased for no reason, de-sexed, vaccinated and rehomed them. I have organised de-sexing for 3 neighbourhood cats (with owners permission) to stop un-needed kittens being born with my own money as they could not afford it.
