COVID-19 Action Plan

In the light of the pandemic we are holding special measures for those that are wanting to, or those ill or been in contact with someone recently infected or could be infected

The Staff will:

  • Wash hands between dog and groomer interaction
  • Wear gloves for pet interaction
  • Practice ‘social distancing’ (Avoid shaking hands, hugging, or kissing other people)
  • Alcohol-based hand rub (ABHR) is the gold standard for hand hygiene.
  • Use single use paper towels for cleaning and dispose of after use.
  • Use new towels for each pet (as we always do)
  • Do not use cakes of soap
  • Cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with tissue or a flexed elbow.
  • Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms.
  • Practice cough etiquette (keep away from other people, cover coughs and sneezes with disposable tissues or clothing, and clean your hands.
  • Do not work if showing signs of illness like COVID-19 or been in contact with an infected person

We have also implemented NO cancellation fees, if you believe to be sick or are isolating due to interaction with possible infected person. We are allowing this up to 2 hours before your appointment until further notice.
We do not want this virus to continue to spread. No Show fees still apply, it is kinder to let us know if cancellation so our staff is not waiting around for clients.
