Please read before making an appointment

By booking your pet, you agree to these conditions;


Before the Groom-

New clients must pay a deposit via stripe credit card processing for new bookings.

How to make an appointment- SMS or email us. Answer any questions. Fill in the online new client form.  Pay the deposit by bank transfer or online payment.  This must be paid more than 48 hours before your booking or your booking may be cancelled. 

You will receive a complimentary SMS from an international number and email to remind you two days before the booking.  You have 24 hours to SMS us in case of cancellation/change of booking. 

Cancellation of Grooming Appointment / No-Show -24 hours notice is required for grooming cancellations/rescheduling so we can fill your appointment. If less than 24 hours notice or in case of no-show, a Cancellation Fee of $75 will be payable or taken off your deposit. **Please note that if you cancel without significant notice or do not show up for your appointment, we are still required to pay staff and loss of income for an appointment we could have filled! ***

Please toilet your dog before, a long walk is best (before the appointment time please, we cannot wait for you to toilet your dog.)

Please park in the driveway if available, (or on the grass of number 16). Please do not park across our neighbours’ driveways or limiting our neighbour’s ability to reverse out of their driveway.

As we run by appointment, please ensure you are on time (if this is your first session, please arrive 5 minutes early to discuss grooming). Every minute you are late is one less minute we have to groom your dog. We cannot take dogs that arrive more than 10 minutes late to the appointment, as we only need to run on time for all clients – the no-show fee will apply.  This is by groomer’s discretion. 

During the Groom-

Dogs are groomed 1 at a time (for single dog families, may be 2 at a time at busy periods) and turnaround is 1-2.5 hours (time will be given at drop off).

Please note we do not allow non-staff members to stay while grooming dogs for safety reasons.

Ear Cleaning Policy- Due to our discussions with Veterinarians in the recommendation of ear health we have the following policy; Cleaning and removal of hair will only be done to the external parts of the ear.  Any signs of infection or inflammation, we will not touch the ears unless advised to do so by a Veterinarian.  We also do not do anal glands without veterinary recommendation.

Teeth Cleaning Policy-  We will only brush teeth and not remove plaque or tartar as advised to do so by the AVA (Australian Veterinary Association)

Flea Control Policy-  Your pet may be sent home with a cleaning fee (to groomers descretion) if found to have fleas during the grooming session.  All Pets should be on a flea control program, at all times of the year.  This is a home business too, so we must clean thoroughly to avid our pets and other clients getting fleas. 

Existing skin conditions can be exposed with de-matting and clipping of your pet.

Sharp scissors, clippers around you pets jumping around can cause injury to your pet, there is always a rare chance of cutting your pet’s skin, and with de-matting, a higher chance.  Please be aware of this.  I do all in my power to avoid this from happening.  All costs associated with Veterinary attention are the pet owners/agent’s responsibility.

The price can change at any time at groomer’s discretion, based on the condition of the coat, fleas present, and dog behaviour. 

Dogs will get excited if you are nearby so please come on time, not early to pick up, if you must be early, or see we are still grooming, please stay out of sight if your dog is too excited, we may not be able to finish neatly, and risk of injury rises. 

If your pet bites the groomer or is too aggressive to groom, it will be sent home and payment must be given of a completed grooming fee.  We cannot have aggressive pets as this injures our groomers for great lengths of time. 

After the Groom-

Late pick-ups attract a fee per 15 mins, being a home salon, I cannot hold pets due to council regulations and neighbourhood noise.

Please note payment is at pick up by cash or EFTPOS.

Please assess if there are any problems with the groom quality or style and advise the groomer before you leave so we can fix anything.

We recommend re-booking your regular grooming at pick up to avoid disappointment.  You may book up to 3 appointments in advance.

We do not take dogs:

De-shedding over 6 weeks between bookings.

Breed styling over 6 weeks between bookings.

Longer styles over 6 weeks between bookings.

Short comfort clips over 8 weeks between bookings.

Puppies over 3 weeks between bookings.
